The parade preparation begins the day before at around 3pm. Matt, Julie, and I went to save a spot for the parade on the 4th. I didn't have to stay all night but I should have since I only got 1 hour of sleep and I would have been better off without that hour.
Randy and I took a little break from the "parade spot save mission" to have dinner at The Communal in Provo. We LOVED our meal and the time together.
